I have been working in dentistry for over 25 years and still find the developments exciting, both as a scientist and clinician. In addition, I have the privilege to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation as a professor at the University of Kiel, Germany. I am also actively involved in clinical research and the development of dental implant systems. My work has already received the Camlog Research Award. I have published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, and I believe that the exchange of knowledge is an important part of research and further development, so I continue to regularly publish in national and international specialist magazines, give lectures at home and abroad by invitation and review scientific articles for some of the most important dental journals.
